Letters from visitors to the Oracle of Pan:
Dear God Pan:
I have come to know you from my reading of several references, and from illustrations of many art works. The knowledge of and my understanding that you are God of Nature has intigued me and has given me considerable comfort whenever I have taken walks in the woods. Knowledge of you has helped me pay greater attention to the living organisms (trees, birds animals, etc.) and to appreciate them more whenever I visit or meditate within forested areas. My question for you is: Is it possible for me to experience or sense your presence while I'm resting or meditating in the forest, and if so, what form (physical, mental, etc.) might I sense your presence?   I thank you for your truthful reply.   In appreciation of you and your presence with nature, I will be planting several trees next spring in your honour.   H.C.

The Oracle Reply:

Feel my breath in the breezeYou can be what you perceive.

Hear my song in the bees. You can do what you beleive.

See my joy in the flowers.

You are the source of power.

 - The Oracle of Pan

Dear Pan, I feel so useless in the face of everything that goes on in the world. I just finished “Pan God of the Woods” and it was so beautiful, but I can't see that the ending can ever become a reality. I know that by planting a tree I will be helping to re-grow the earth, but is that really enough? I wrote this for you: In the land where I first happened,
In the sky I see above,
In the fields and beasts of nature,
I call to thee, my love.
With hope, and with half knowledge, I seek to know thy truth:
Each night your charms invade my dreams,
To satisfy my youth.
When morning breaks, I worship still,
And kneel down at your alter,
And call to thee, Sweet Pan,
To hear my steps that falter.
But with truth there shall be joy in me,
And with joy I shall be true
And love all that you represent
And devote myself to you.
I call to thee, Sweet Bestial Pan,
To visit those who love thee,
And through thou many pleasing tests,
shall gain your trust and know thee.

Thank you for listening.

The Oracle Reply:

Be Free! Thou Art Beauty!
born beyond being...
rare and simple purity
fragile power -- timeless immortality. Complex simplicity, perfectly sublime:
undying yet reborn.
Serenity in action, uncompromised by time:
wrinkled though unworn. No dance can sway Thee
No psalm can say Thee
No sight can see Thee
No sense can be Thee You Are that You Are
as ever You will be.
Thou Art Beauty!
Be Free!

The Oracle of Pan.

QUESTION:Do you have any knowledge or information about a Picasso ink drawing/etching of Pan? I would also like to ask Pan's advice about selling The Keeper Menstrual Cup to the world. How about some advertising ideas?

 The Oracle Reply:

Attached is the sketch to which you refer
drawn by Picasso, if you prefer,
rendered on paper in pen & ink.
A likeness of me? I do not think!

As for the sale of the Cup of Menstrual...
The longer you Keeper, the price it will fall.
Go forth and announce it's for sale to each one
on E-Bay internet, high bidder has won!

Question: GREETINGS GREAT HORNED ONE. WHEN WILL I HEAR THE NEWS THAT I AM DESPERATELY WAITING FOR? The Oracle Reply: One hears merely by listening.
One is not desperate when one is at cause.
One waits by failing to move forward.
One observes, then nothing is news.

Question: Will me and my lover Maddie ever be one and live together in piece and harmonie??????? Pan's Reply: To be One,
One must first be Oneself,
Then, each, Be the Other One.
Harmonie? Maddie & Thee: Each as Oneself,
then as the Other One
then, One Together as One.

Question: How do I lose umwnted fat on my body in three days? Can you give me a ritual? Pan's Reply: Ritual rites won't change your weight
What really counts is what you ate.
The motions you stop of fork to mouth
Will change your weight from north to south.
For three full days you can fast --
Drink lots of water, till the last.
If your fat you do not drop
Then keep on fasting -- do not stop.
Bodies are for work and play.
You must make yours obey
Your Will to make it slim and sleek.
You're the one who makes it eat!

Question:
I am a woman frustrated by my fear of male sexuality.
I have little sexual experience, and when I have had
opportunities to become intimate with a man, I am
overcome with fear and I freeze up or run away. I
don't know where this panic comes from (I have never
been with an abusive man). I want to enjoy sexual
pleasure and intimacy with men, but each time I am
struck with panic.

I ask you, Great God Pan, what is it about male
sexuality that frightens me so? How can I make peace
with my fear and open myself up to a man?

Pan's Reply:

Know the Being before you know the Body
Sexual contact is a much lower form of communication
than Spiritual communication between Trusted Friends.
Explain your fear to a Friend and ask for Help.
Gradually explore this other Being.
Reach toward him and then withdraw.
Allow him to reach and draw away from You.
Each time, do not reach beyond that which is comfortable for you.
Then, ask your Friend, how it feels for Him.
You must understand his feelings.
You must be willing to play both the parts --
Pleasure comes from Giving, not Receiving.
In hours, in days, in weeks, in months, surely,
your comfort will grow -- much as a tree grows slowly,
Yet steadily, from a seed into maturity.
One day fear will turn to Certainty.

Question: What was K. trying to tell me in my dream? I can still see him but can not remember any audio from the dream. I would love to know what he wanted me to know... Pan's Reply: One can hear a lot just by listening.
If there is no sound, listen to the silence
and know what is there to know.
Listening is not knowing:
Knowing is knowing.

Question: I am Wiccan by nature, and i was wondering if you could tell me if
there is a symbol for Pan. The only thing I can think of is the Panpipes.
Pan's Reply: I Am That I Am
And Every Shall Be!
The pipes that I play
are surely not Me.
My piping caused Midas
To grow donkey ears,
When Apollo was jealous
that his lyre had a peer.
I am know on the Earth
for my pipes and my horns,
for lusting and mating and mirth;
for the legends I've caused to be born.
Yet above all of these
I'm a Spirit that's Free -
I always will be!
No symbol describes Immortality!

Question: Merry Meet, great Horned One! As a devout male Wiccan and eternal believer of your supernatural existence, power, influence and ability my question is as follows: is there any prayer, spell, incantation, chant, ingredients, recipe, potion, magic, ritual, procedure, process etc. that will enable me to increase/enhance/enlarge the size of my male sex organ and/or to maintain erection fron the flaccid state longer, and/or to increase the longevity of my intercourse/fornication/copulation with female witches? Although I know that is what God gave me (average penis size and stamina), I am curious to know if there can be any "improvement" (size, width, girth, staying power). Blessed Be.
Pan's reply:
I am Pan, of the Prodigious Phallus. God of Eternal Fertility!
Immortally, I have Frolicked and Fornicated with the Nymphs,
Fueled and Fooled by Lust to Suck Sensation from the groin.
I sought orgasmic explosions of infinite, exquisite Ecstasy!
Of craven, craving for compulsive, convulsive, Carnal Creation!!
In the perpetual, pulsing, pounding, Pursuit of Passion the significance of size
is relative to the proportions of The Penetrated.

Innumerable Conquests and Time,
Taught me that sexual sensations are Created in the Mind.
We put it out and pull it in -- pretending that the Source is not our Self.
We Cause Our Own Elation!
Sensation does not issue from the loins -- instead, it turns a God into a man!
Eternal Joy is Creating from Within!
You do not need a partner to Enjoy!

Question:What was my wife trying to tell me when she died?Pan's Reply:I Am As I Am,
And Ever Shall Be.No Life Defines Me
No Body Cofines MeYou are Loved,
As You Love Me.

Question:What is the meaning of life?

Pan's reply:Life is a work of art
The meaning of a painting
is endowed as much by the viewer
as by the artist.

Question: I work in a city, I live in a town, I'm overworked and underpaid, tired and stressed and usually at the end of my rope - So how, great pan, do I do justice to you, the God that I feel most at one with?

Pan's reply:

In the city, In the Town
Tiredness has got you Down.
Pull yourself up by your Rope,
You are your only Hope.Do justice to You,
To your own Self be True.
Personal Integrity
Is the thing that sets us Free!Tiredness is caused by Duress!
Befriend those around you who don't cause you Stress.
Be true to Your Dreams, be true to your Goals,
Don't live with people whose goals you oppose! The forest is clean, The woods are Serene
I care for them and they care for Me.
I'm true to Myself, I'll always be Me,
The help I give Life, is the help Life gives Me.

Question: Will my relationship with ______ last ?

Pan's reply:

No sight can see Thee
No sense can be Thee
No dance can sway Thee
No psalm can say TheeCommunication, free,
with joint responsibility:
If love between yoU & OTHERS there will be.

(Don't forget to plant a tree...)

Question:

Why are there no picutres of Pan on this web site?

Pan's reply:

How do you paint the wind?
How do you take a picture of a god?
If you could take a picture of a spirit,
It would not be a spirit!

Question: That's not an answer...

Pan's reply:Truth is what is true for You.
The answer is before your eyes.
Each question states it's own reply.

Question: Will I find my life partner? Who will it be?

Pan's reply:

Any true friend is a partner for life:
Through young and thin and old and fat,
A friend is a friend through joy and strife!
A friend is a lover wherever they're at !
Partners are friends who love your life.

Question: Will I marry again?

Pan's reply:

I am that I am.
Again, marry I will.
The choice is mine.
I will marry again.
I am the source of my life.
Marry I will, again.
I am cause.
Again, I will marry.
My future is mine to make.
Will I marry again?
Will a tree grow when I plant the seed?
